Hoooraaay! It actually happened. I'm so happy for Kaj and for Sweden. What a delightful entry. You don't know how long I've been waiting for Sweden to send a deliciously fun and joyous schlager to the contest again. Bara Bada Bastu just brings a massive smile to my face. I thought we'd never get this side of Sweden again at the contest but a miracle took place tonight.

A very easy and pleasurable to deliver :12: points from me. Thank you, Sweden (and the international jury for not spoiling things as we feared) xheart

Ugh, let's not talk about it
I was absolutely certain Måns would crush everyone in the Jury votes but it was closer than expected. Nice to see.
I was really sure that would happen too! The jury surprised me in a couple ways. For example, putting Dolly Style up so high. For the record, I think Yihaa is iconic, just wasn't expecting it to get so much jury love

For me it's just joy that Sweden sends something different than the past years, but it is not my kind of music tbh. But I celebrate with you all and it's nice seeing you all happy! :6: from me.

Brilliant stuff Sweden. Kaj's song has been stuck in my head all week, and I know it will be such a moment on stage in Basel!

:12: points graciously given, as it's one of the few songs like this that continues to grow on me a get better with repeat listens xclap

However, I continue to DETEST this method of revealing the votes, because me being me, I always have to get my calculator out so I already know the result before the last votes are given.... Seriously, keep it a surprise, don't make it so transparent and predictable.

Do we really have time to care about the feelings of a homophobe. Especially one that will never read these comments?
Well I’m perhaps generous in taking on board his apology and what he’s done to make amends with the LGBTQ+ community in the years since.

As for the bit in bold, that attitude is why the fandom is getting ever more toxic. Feeling empowered to spout bile just because ‘they won’t see it’.

Can't believe :se: is not sending a bland, mediocre english pop song this year! The song is ass but at least it is different from anything they sent in the last decade. Maybe next year they might even choose a power metal song in Swedish language. Never lose hope.

Watching FdC now but just came here to say that i'm proud of you swedes for standing your ground against the westernized pop mafia and non-effort comebacks.

We're witnessing a groundbreaking moment. First time since 1998 (!!) to sing in their native language. Nothing will top this.
