What Azerbaijan seems to have overlooked over the past three years is that, in order to succeed at Eurovision as a straight male performer, it’s crucial to have a highly accessible song paired with a compelling visual presence. A mediocre entry simply isn't enough for a straight male artist to make it to the final. The level of accessibility and on-stage allure required is far higher.
The current entry may seem passable, but its because we are considering it in the context of previous Azerbaijan entries, such as Tural Turan and Fahree. Both of these entries collectively scored just 15 points in the semi-final. While this year’s entry may score higher, it still doesn't seem to have the qualities necessary to truly stand out and crack into top 10 in the more difficult semi.
For Azerbaijan to have a real shot at contention in Eurovision, they need to aim for something far more impactful, with a stronger song.
Also recently there has been an increasing exposure of artists' personalities and their interactions
Sympathetic singers who engage well in interviews and with fans gain extra points. However, Azerbaijani artists since Efendi have often appeared somewhat isolated, lacking in that kind of connection. (Remember how Aze benefited from EfenTix)
I’ve heard that Mamagama will be attending some pre-parties this year, I hope they make good use of this opportunity.

just because they are our turkic brothers, otherwise id give much lower
