I don't think they have announced the pots yet though I would think they would be almost identical to the 2011 pots (with the exception of Montenegro)

In the TV guide it also says 12:20... I have no idea if it's special show or not so tune in at 09:20CET in the morning. Just in case :)

Is this show tomorrow?
Yes.

"Of course, you can see it all live on Eurovision.tv! The show starts tomorrow at 17:00 CET." says eurovision.tv, so I´m quite sure, that it will be on 17:00.

^ so they are not showing it live @ eurovision.tv?
Have you seen the 1st post? They are showing it live. The morning show is most def not connected with the draw.
ESC official site won't broadcast if it's not live.

Baku becomes Host City with a huge show

Buta_Palace.jpg

Baku, Azerbaijan
- Tomorrow, Baku will become officially the Host City of the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, being the first exciting event to take place in the city. It'll be followed by the Semi-Final Allocation Draw as well as the presentation of this year's theme art.

The events of tomorrow will start with the traditional Host City Insignia Exchange where the Mayor of Düsseldorf will hand over a symbolic key to the Mayor of Baku. Thus, it'll be now Baku's turn to host Europe's favourite TV show. This will be followed by a draw which will determine in which Semi-Final this year's 37 Semi-Finalists will compete in as well as where will France, the UK, Spain, Italy, Germany and Azerbaijan vote in. And if that's not enough of excitement, then the Host Broadcaster Ictimai TV will also present the theme art for this year's contest. All of that will be followed by a show featuring performances by Ruslana, Safura, Aysel, Lena, Alexander Rybak and of course, Ell/Nikki!

The event will also be aired live by the Host Broadcasters Ictimai TV as well as a number of national broadcasters all over Europe.

What about the venue?

On Wednesday morning, the Reference Group will gather in Baku for a two-day meeting, to discuss a variety of topics in the lead up to the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest. The agenda shows concrete topics, of which the most exciting one is a final decision on the venue for the upcoming contest.

Meanwhile, press and fans are eager to learn more about accreditation, accommodation in Baku, visa arrangement and of course tickets for the shows. We expect more information on all of these topics after the Reference Group meeting, so stay with Eurovision.tv for the days to come!

Hi Friends,

I got from a friend this capture from the preparations for the semi-final draws from Ictimai TV:

I wonder if somebody could help translating a bit whats being talked about.
I'm especially interesting about parts refering to Lena (I'm from her fan club)

Thanks in advance if somebody might be able to help.

Vampire67, in the news they are speaking about the organisation of tomorrow's event. They talked about some 3D mapping, kind of an exciting format in which they will broadcast it. They also talked about guest singers including Alexander Rybak and Lena, a good number of journalists from national broadcasters from several European countries and Euronews. Then they told that this is the very first time there is a great show for the allocation draw followed by presentation of the logo, slogan and the website of ESC 2012. Representatives of EBU also talked about their satisfaction on preparation of ESC 2012 and some very interesting ideas to be realised for ESC 2012 which they are going to reveal soon. Well, that is all :)
