It's time to start the fun polls. Now that we know all the songs from our Nordic friends, which one do you like the best?

I voted for Denmark too, but I hate that poll because it implies Nordic countries are special or even superior.

There are other polls that will be created including one for the Big 5, Ex Yugo, ex Soviet etc.....

Finland easily. I actually strongly dislike three of the Nordic entries this year. I'd rank them like this...

1. :fi:
2. :se:
3. :dk:
4.
5. :is:

Finland is raw, unhinged and cool. Something really fresh for the contest. Sweden is slick. Solid song and performance.

Then you've got Denmark that is beige beyond. Norway with an average ballad and one of the most horrifically fake, inflected voices i've ever heard. I can't listen to the girl swallowing her words. Actually makes me uncomfortable. Iceland is just all around bad and annoying to listen to. Can't find a single redeeming feature.

Yes, i'm clearly very mainstream at the moment with my appreciation of popular fan favourite, Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät's "Aina mun pitää". I don't know what's happened to me? I used to be so against the crowd, but now i'm a part of itxcry1

My OGAE compatriots hate Finland, for the most part :/
And also Latvia! Which seems like an OGAE song, but none of them like it!

Whoa, i honestly don't think i like a single one of them. Not even Estonia, which is sometimes considered a Nordic country. I guess i'll pick Finland, just for entertainment value.

I was more leaning towards your support for Mans in MF. But Finland is leading the poll here. It's clearly a massive forum favourite.

Maybe we could consider UK a Nordic country this year, but we have to find out if Electro Velvet is Scottish. Then we would have our Nordic winner :p

If the Russian singer came from Murmansk, she'd be Nordic as well. The German singer comes from Hamburg and people there consider themselves as Nordic by nature, but her song is too bad to pull the Nordic title.

Yes, after 2014 the UK is fully Nordic now. All those points we raked in from Denmark, Norway and Iceland was a lovely welcoming gift to the club. This year we expect points of Sweden and Finland as well.
