Tonight, Estonia followed on from the events of two nights ago with the second semi-final of Eesti Laul, as twelve more acts took to the Saku Suurhall stage.
As with the first show, Grete Kuld and Tõnis Niinemets oversaw the performances and also showing the vibes and atmosphere from the green room.
Tonight’s twelve participants were as follows;
- Sissi – Time
- Gram-Of-Fun – Lost in a Dance
- Kadri Voorand – Energy
- Helen – Nii kõrgele
- REDEL – Tartu
- Rahel – Sunday Night
- Uku Haasma – Kaos
- Heleza – 6
- Uku Suviste – The Lucky One
- Alabama Watchdog – Alabama Watchdog
- Jüri Pootsmann – Magus melanhoolia
- Suured tüdrukud – Heaven’s Not That Far Tonight
Notable acts in tonight’s show included Uku Suviste, Estonia’s 2020 entrant and previous winner of Eesti Laul, 2016 representative Jüri Pootsmann and veteran Eesti Laul backing singers Suured tüdrukud, stepping into the limelight for the first time!
Following all of the performances and a break for the local news, four acts qualified via a 50/50 combination of jury and televoting, with the final two qualifiers decided in a second round of televoting alone.
The six qualifying acts are;
- Kadri Voorand
- Uku Suviste
- Jüri Pootsmann
- Suured tüdrukud
- REDEL
- Sissi
They will join Hans Nayna, Andrei Zevakin & Pluuto, Karl Killing, Egert Milder, Koit Toome and Ivo Linna, Robert Linna & Supernova in the final on March 6th. One of these acts will be chosen to represent Estonia in the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest!
