Estonians are not ones to hang around when it comes to Eurovision – this week the Estonian national broadcaster has already revealed details regarding the tenth anniversary edition of Eesti Laul in 2018, with tickets set to go on sale on Friday, 5th May.

The final of the competition will take place on Saturday 3rd March 2018, with two semi-finals therefore expected to be held on Saturday 10th February and 17th February 2018, assuming the format remains the same as in 2017.

Mart Normet, the producer of Eesti Laul, has said;

“Interest in the Estonian Song Festival finale concert is extremely high – last year, we sold a thousand of the best seats in May. Since Eesti Laul is celebrating this year its 10th anniversary, it can be assumed that the interest in this event will continue to rise. For two years we have filled the Saku Suurhall, and we believe we are going to do so this year as well, so it’s worth the rush!”

The 2017 Eesti Laul final was a fantastic event we would recommend Eurovision fans to try at least once, and Tallinn is a beautiful city. Perhaps 2018 will be the year you travel to Estonia?
