Estonian broadcaster ERR has announced the first of two lineups of artists for Eesti Laul 2023, welcoming both new and returning artists to compete for a chance to represent Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool, England this spring.
Earlier in the week, ERR confirmed its first artist of the 2023 season: Sissi, who is returning for a third time after taking fourth place in 2019 with the song “Strong,” and second in 2021 with “Time.” She was also the Estonian spokesperson for Eurovision 2021.
Here’s a full list of the first ten participants and songs in Eesti Laul 2023:
- Alika – “Bridges”
- Andreas Poom – “Why Do You Love Me”
- Carlos Ukareda – “Whiskey Won’t Forget”
- ELLIP – “Pretty Girl”
- Elysa – “Bad Philosophy”
- JANEK – “House of Glass”
- kaw – “Valik”
- Meelik – “Tuju”
- Sissi – “Lighthouse
- Wiiralt & Ultima Thule – “Salalik”
Eesti Laul 2023 will include two semi-finals and a final on the following dates:
- Semi-final 1: January 12
- Semi-final 2: January 14
- Grand Final: February 11
