Estonian broadcaster ERR has announced the first of two lineups of artists for Eesti Laul 2023, welcoming both new and returning artists to compete for a chance to represent Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool, England this spring.

Earlier in the week, ERR confirmed its first artist of the 2023 season: Sissi, who is returning for a third time after taking fourth place in 2019 with the song “Strong,” and second in 2021 with “Time.” She was also the Estonian spokesperson for Eurovision 2021.

Here’s a full list of the first ten participants and songs in Eesti Laul 2023:

  • Alika – “Bridges”
  • Andreas Poom – “Why Do You Love Me”
  • Carlos Ukareda – “Whiskey Won’t Forget”
  • ELLIP – “Pretty Girl”
  • Elysa – “Bad Philosophy”
  • JANEK – “House of Glass”
  • kaw – “Valik”
  • Meelik – “Tuju”
  • Sissi – “Lighthouse
  • Wiiralt & Ultima Thule – “Salalik”

Eesti Laul 2023 will include two semi-finals and a final on the following dates:

  • Semi-final 1: January 12
  • Semi-final 2: January 14
  • Grand Final: February 11
