Just like that… we have our 26 finalists! On a quick sad note, it’s also a sign of it’s soon all over, but let’s stay positive and keep the excitement going, soon we’ll crown a new European champion when it comes to music, but the question is, who will it be?
5 spots left in both halves
Let’s once again congratulate the 10 new finalists from the second semi-final, being 🇦🇲 Armenia, 🇪🇪 Estonia, 🇧🇪 Belgium, 🇨🇾 Cyprus, 🇵🇱 Poland, 🇸🇮 Slovenia, 🇦🇹 Austria, 🇦🇱 Albania, 🇱🇹 Lithuania and 🇦🇺 Australia.
These 10 qualifiers were all picked by the televote only, since for 2023, the juries have been removed from the semi-finals, and by the time of writing, there has been no indication from the EBU, that there was any need to intervene in the voting.
As we learned from after the first semi-final, the qualified acts would pick their halves first, before getting to the winner’s press conference. This is where the acts who qualified, will draw out of a bowl whether they get to perform in the first half or in the second half.
We also know, that after the finalists from the first semi-final qualified, there would only be 5 spots left in both the first and second half, so let’s see how it went for our 10 new finalists as follow:
- Entering in the first half of the grand final:

- Estonia 🇪🇪
- Austria 🇦🇹

- Entering in the second half of the grand final:
- Belgium 🇧🇪

- Slovenia 🇸🇮
With that, we now know all the 26 countries that will take part in the final and we now which half all country will participate in and more specifically, we know where Ukraine and the United Kingdom will be as well.
