Chalk another win up for the United Kingdom; Ella Henderson’s “Glow” wins October 2014’s Forum Song Contest (FSC) with 126 points.

Singer-songwriter Ella Henderson was a fan favorite in The X-Factor‘s 2012 season, in which she finished sixth overall. Her debut album, Chapter One, released just last month, hit the top spot in the UK album charts, and has already been certified Silver.

This is Henderson’s second win in FSC, the first being four editions ago in this June’s FSC #64 with her first single “Ghost”.

Coming in second this month with 115 points is The Netherlands, with The Real Youth’s “Running Alone”, while the host country Turkey’s entry, Atiye’s Yetmez (featuring İskender Paydaş), came in third place at 114.

The full scoreboard can be found on ScoreWiz here, and all the songs can be found on the contest page here. This month’s contest was held in Istanbul, Turkey, after Mustafa Ceceli and Lara Fabian’s win in September.

This is the United Kingdom’s ninth win since the first FSC. They have already won three times this year, twice now with Ella Henderson, and once in FSC #61 in March, with Katy B’s “Crying for No Reason”.

FSC is an online contest based on the Eurovision Song Contest, where participants send recent music from their home countries monthly to competed. If this sounds interesting, give the FSC Forum a look and consider joining us in a celebration of music from around the world!
