Seconds ago it was announced on BBC Red Button that the representative of the United Kingdom in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest will be Electro Velvet!
After an open selection, almost 300 and months of speculation the BBC have now revealed that Electro Velvet with the song “Still In Love” will fly the Union Jack in Vienna, for the 60th Eurovision Song Contest. The song ‘Still in Love’ is an electro swing sing which is “A really popular genre at the minute” and the song was chosen because its “really catchy”.
The United Kingdom, as part of the Big 5 countries will perform in the Final of this year’s contest on the 23rd of May in Vienna, Austria.
