Well, the EBU are full of surprises for 2016 and apparently we are in for another surprise at 10:00am CET! The EBU have stated that there will be an exciting announcement in the morning!
What could the announcement be? It may be something we are expecting such as the running order for the semi-finals, which is set to be announced this month, or could the EBU announcing something much bigger. The latest ‘big announcement’ was the change in the voting, last year we had a ‘big announcement’ when Australia were introduced to the world of Eurovision. Could the EBU be announcing a 27th finalist? China and Kazakhstan have been eliminated previously, but is that all to change? Could the 2017 contest be the biggest ever Eurovision allowing more non-full members to participate?
Or maybe, just maybe, we will see Monaco return after 10 years? Ok maybe not. But what we do know is that in these changing times anything is possible!
