After the most successful attempt in Czech history in Vienna, Czech national broadcaster Česká Televize has confirmed it will once again make an internal selection for Eurovision 2016.
Marta Jandová and Václav Noid Bárta were chosen as the duo heralding in the new Czech era in the contest and achieved 33 points, more than three times the total number of points achieved by the country’s previous three entries. Despite this, the broadcaster still aims to reach the Eurovision final for the first time in Sweden, and will select their participant in time for the height of the national selection season.
According to esctoday, the broadcaster will announce its artist(s) sometime in February.
