Yesterday we reported on the names expected to fight for the Czech ticket to Tel Aviv, and today the national broadcaster Česká televize has confirmed that these eight acts will indeed be in the selection for Israel. However, today’s press conference event did also unveil the songs that the performers would compete with in ESCZ, the Czech selection.
The eight tracks that are in contention to represent the Czech Republic are;
- Andrea Holá – Give Me a Hint
- Jakub Ondra – Space Sushi
- Barbora Mochowa – True Colors
- Jara Vymer – On My Knees
- Tomáš Boček – Don’t Know Why
- Lake Malawi – Friend of a Friend
- Pam Rabbit – Easy to Believe
- Hana Barbara – Poslední slova tobě
Alternatively there is a YouTube playlist of the entries HERE.
Voting is now open online to decide which act should represent the Czech Republic in Tel Aviv, with a two week voting window, much like last year. #YOU can vote via the official Eurovision app, with the reveal of the winner and therefore the Czech entry for 2019 taking place on Monday 28th January.
Who is your favourite? Which song do #YOU think the Czech Republic should send to Tel Aviv? Share your thoughts with us on our forum HERE or join the discussion below and on social media!

It was also announced that all the artists will do a busking challenge somewhere in the streets of Prague (and it will be recorded of course) so that we get to hear them perform their songs before the deadline.
