Big news coming in from overnight, as the latest odds on the winner of Eurovision 2018 are in, and, for the first time since 10th March, we have a new leader!

Cyprus’ entry, “Fuego” by Eleni Foureira, has thoroughly impressed fans and press ever since the first rehearsal last Monday and following the conclusion of last night’s jury semi-final, her odds on bringing a first ever Cypriot victory have tumbled. She has now overtaken Israel’s big favourite Netta as the act in Pole position to win Eurovision this Saturday.

Of course, odds are just an indication of what people are willing to put money on rather than an actual indication of popularity, but this rapid change suggests that it could be the best result ever for one of the contest’s longest running and unluckiest nations!

Eleni and Cyprus will close tonight’s first semi-final, which begins at 21:00 CET. We will bring #YOU all of the latest reactions to the show and the qualifiers tonight. In the meantime, why not check out our predictions below and make sure #YOU vote in our prediction poll HERE.
