Founder of Barking Well Media production company Nikos Koklonis revealed during the Greek show “KALOKAIRI #YES” on OPEN TV that the winner of the talent show Fame Story will also be the representative of Cyprus in Eurovision 2024. He also revealed that he will be the host of the show this fall.

He also shared additional details about the show’s format. Instead of pairs, solo artists will compete for the trophy. The show is scheduled to start in late September and conclude in late December. The contestants will be 15-16 maximum, and the coaches have not been finalized yet. The academy will provide lessons on managing their own social media, handling success and dealing with reporters as part of their training.

As mentioned by Nikos, the purpose of bringing back Fame Story is not just to produce a winner who will come and go, but rather to prepare them for the future.

The Success of Fame Story

During its first four seasons back in 2002-2006, the show provided so many Greek artists such as Kalomoira who competed in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 and got the 3rd place, Nino, Thanos Petrelis, Rallia Christidou, Kostas Karafotis, George Lianos, Konstantinos Argyros, Leonidas Balafas and others.

So many years later, the show is coming back on the Greek TV, produced by Barking Well Media and with many special surprises for the winner.
