Croatia was one of the few countries that were very silent. This morning an offcial statement from HRT, the Croatian national broadcaster, came and it is confirmed that Nina Kraljić will represent the Balkan country this May in Stockholm.
Rumors are Nina and her participation started already last year when she won the first season of The Voice as it was mentioned that the winner will represent the country next year at Eurovision.
It is interesting that her mentor was Jacques Houdek, who tried to represent Croatia several times, last being in 2011 when he was the runner-up. Check out their performance of Loreen’s Euphoria.
Nina’s song will be presented on March 9th and as it was stated it will be very interestin, suitable for her unique voice.
This will be Croatia’s come back act after two years of absence. Nina is set to perform in the first semifinal on May 10th. Do you think that she will bring back the country to the Grand Final, as their last qualification came in 2009 thanks to the jury?
