The Netherlands are of the 7 original Eurovision countries, débuting at the inaugural contest in 1956. They’ve won the contest five times, most recently in 2019 with Duncan Laurence’s “Arcade”.

The Dutch have an inconsistent track record in the televote since the start of the decade, with the entries by Joost and S10 doing well, while the songs by Jeangu Macrooy and Mia & Dion struggled.
