Bulgaria’s national broadcaster BNT may have taken the decision to not join the contest in Vienna but it seems that there is still fire in the belly of the TV channel, after announcing today that they plan to be with us in 2016.
In the latest press release from the channel it appears that BNT are expected to launch their 2016 campaign and fund their participation through a collaboration with BTV, another major channel in Bulgaria. If the collaboration proves successful then Bulgaria will already be the third country expected to return in 2016, after Croatia and Turkey announced intentions to return after the Vienna contest.
With rumours over Luxembourg’s 2016 return it seems there may be a bit of a wait, but Europe may finally be joining together again in song next year!
