After an incredibly interesting National Final, Belarus has chosen TEO to represent their country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen. Yuriy Vashchuk, known as his stage name TEO, sang the interestingly-composed “Cheesecake”.

Here is the official video for “Cheesecake”:

The results were half from the Televote and half from the jury, composed of prominent members of the Belarusian entertainment industry: Gennady Davydko, Alexander Tikhanovich, Marianna Malchik, Elena Treschinskaya, Vasiliy Rainchik, Eduard Martynyuk, Alexander Mezhenniy, Mikhail Revutskiy, and last year’s Belarusian representative to Eurovision, Alyona Lanskaya.

After TEO and Max Lorens tied in first place with 20 points each, each member of the jury picked their favorite of the two. After the tiebreaker, TEO was announced as the winner.
