Spainish broadcaster decided to hold a national final with six acts.
Maverick, Barei, Xuso Jones, Salvador Beltran, Maria Isabel and Electric Nana were running the race for the next Spanish representative.

During the 90 minutes show programme many local Eurostars performed and it was opened by Loreen, the winner from 2012.

The winner was decided by international jury made of Italy, France, UK and Sweden, artistic jury made of Edurne, Loreen and Carlos Marin as well the televote.

The winner is Barei with Say Yay. She earned 114 points, twenty more then Xuso Jones who was the runner up. Maria Isabel who won the second edition of the Junior Eurovision finished fourth.
