Perennial Eurovision favorites Azerbaijan are getting started on their entry for 2019! A report from INFE Azerbaijan has confirmed that they are beginning their search for their next artist and song on November 20th. The process appears to be based on a series of casting calls, but full details of their method this year remain unclear. We also do not yet know when the announcement of their choice for Eurovision 2019 will come.
Azerbaijan are likely eager to get back on track after just missing out on the final for the first time last year; making the selection more accessible than last year’s may just help them find undiscovered talent.
