It’s no secret anymore that one of the contest’s biggest fans isn’t even taking part in the contest, but SBS of Australia has already announced that it will broadcast Eurovision down under once again in 2015, as part of their 2015 highlights article.

The broadcaster has also confirmed that Julia Zemiro and Sam Pang, the long-standing commentating pair, will be in Vienna once more for the 60th anniversary show and are ‘already working on’ how the country can ‘build bridges’ to Austria.

Surprisingly, the broadcaster hasn’t made a joke about Austria/Australia yet, but with a long way to go until May we’re sure that line will be crossed at some point.

Australia’s relationship with Eurovision has been stronger than any other non-participating nation, and in 2014 the EBU invited the country to perform during the interval act of semi-final 2. Jessica Mauboy sang for the Oceanic country with “Sea of Flags”.
