Fans of Eurovision love this time of year in particular; all of the newly released Eurovision entries are on repeat, ringing solidly in the ears of thousands of people across the continent and avid fans have continued to fine tune their rankings for the 43 songs of the year.

But there’s a problem! Despite the official deadline for entry submissions to the EBU passing on Monday, we are still waiting for one song to be revealed; Armenia’s “Fly With Me”.

The song will debut on Saturday 18th March with the music video being released to the internet, most likely through the official Eurovision channel on YouTube. Artsvik, the artist performing the Armenian entry in 2017, has continued to tease the entry, posting about the song on Facebook;

“My song tells the story of a girl who is the metaphorical symbol of love. She embodies the colours, the stories and the voices that make us who we are. ‘Fly With Me’ encourages everyone to come with me on this girl’s journey of championing the diverse and beautiful human nature.”

The singer has also posted photos of herself in traditional Armenian dress, suggesting that the ethnic elements in the entry could play a major role in not only the composition but the music video and eventual Eurovision performance also.

Either way, we hope that the song will be worth the hype – Armenia’s journey to Kiev is by far the longest, having begun with the first show of Depi Evratesil on October 22nd, nearly five full months ago!
