Festivali i Këngës came to an end and the jury gave the ticket to Copenhagen to Herciana Matmuja and her song Zemërimi i një nate.
It was the first song of the night out of 16 and Herciana was able to stay in the juries mind; there was no televote.

Albania had mixed success at the Eurovision Song Contest with their best result in 2012 where Rona Nishliu placed fifth. However in 2013 Albania was unable to qualify for the Finals when Adrian Lulgjuraj and Bledar Sejko flopped with “Identitet”.
