The public broadcaster of (FYR) Macedonia has confirmed that the country will indeed be present in 2015, despite the worrying results of a poll conducted by MRT.

The broadcaster also confirmed today that the winner of Skopje Fest will represent the nation at the 60th contest in Austria, with the national final set to take place on November 13th of this year. It is currently unknown what format Skopje Fest will take.

Macedonia is the 20th country to confirm their participation next May, and the first Balkan country. The country was represented by Tijana Dapčević in 2014 with “To The Sky” but failed to qualify for the final.
