On the 10th of May 2014 San Marino participated in the Final of the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest for the first time in the small countries Eurovision history, although many many rumours have been flying around as to who will represent San Marino in Austria in 2015, and some have claimed that SMTV (San Marino National Broadcaster) have selected an artist already to represent them, this is not the case.
ESCUnited.com, today received confirmation from SMTV that they have not yet made a decision as to whether they will participate in Austria, and no confirmation of participation has been made, therefore, no act has been selected to represent the nation in the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest.
SMTV stated that we will receive more information from them “if we will take part next year”.
San Marino first participated in Eurovision Song Contest in 2008, and first made the final in 2014, when Valentina Monetta achieved a place in the final on her third attempt.
