This weekend Eurovision In Concert (EIC) took place in Amsterdam. At the official press meeting the attending journalists got to see a glimpse of the 2014 stage and postcards.

This year’s stage will appear in a diamond shape with 3000 lamps and over 1200 square meter of LED screens. The light designer Kasper Langer said to eurovision.tv that this is the biggest light production in Denmark ever.

The organizers will make use of special fabric within the hall to improve the acoustics of the arena. When it’s finished the sound quality is expected to be better than Denmark’s national arena Parken.

The press at EIC also got to see three of the 37 postcards that will be used during the show in Copenhagen. This year the artists will depict their national flags in different ways during the postcard. In the link here (at 21.00 minutes in) you can see three of the postcards (Austria, Finland and The Netherlands).

SVT has also posted pictures of Sanna Nielsen filming her postcard on their website. By the looks of it the Swedish flag will be displayed by a pool with yellow air matrasses as the cross.
