One week after the EBU announce they are taking measures to prevent cheating in the Eurovision Song Contest, the Lithuanian broadcaster have announced that they too are doing the same, although in their National Selection.

Although Martynas Kavaliauskas often topped the televoting it has came to the attention of LRT that there were ‘irregularities’ in the public vote. The investigation suggested that there were only 677 televotes for Martynas, as opposed to the initial 1332 votes announced in the televised show. It was announced on Saturday night that the results would be delayed, and today it has been announced why.

The 4 acts that remain in Eurovizijos 2014 are:

Mia

Vilija Matačiūnaitė

Vaidas Baumila

Monika Linkytė

The show will continue on Saturday evening when the remaining acts will perform.
