Finnish broadcaster Yle has officially announced the seven entries slated to compete in this year’s Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2025 (UMK 2025). Each song will be released between January 7th and January 16th.
- Neea River – “Nightmares” releases on Thursday, January 9th.
- Nelli Matula – “Hitaammin hautaan” releases on Friday, January 10th.
- Costee – “Sekaisin” releases on Monday, January 13th.
- VIIVI – “AINA” releases on Tuesday, January 14th.
- One Morning Left – “Puppy” releases on Wednesday, January 15th.
- Goldielocks – “Made Of” releases on Thursday, January 16th.
- Erika Vikman – “Ich komme” releases on Friday, January 7th.
The Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2025 (UMK 2025) will take place on February 8th at the Nokia Arena in Tampere. The show will be hosted by Mikko Silvennoinen, Eva Frantz, Jasmin Beloued, Katri Norrlin, and Sanni.
The winner of UMK 2025 will represent Finland at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held in Basel, Switzerland, this May.
