A Dal: Six songs advance for Hungary

The first quarterfinal of Hungary’s national selection, A Dal, was held Saturday.  Six of the ten acts qualified this evening for the semi-finals, which will be held on February 15^th and 16^th.  The other two quarterfinals will be held February 1^st and 8^th, each with six more songs advancing.  The final will be held February 22^nd.

A jury consisting of Jenő Csiszár, Kati Kovács, Philip Rákay, and Magdi Rúzsa, who represented Hungary at Eurovision in 2007, chose three songs.  After the jury selection, the remaining seven songs were put to a televote and the televoters selected the remaining three.

Running Out Of Time  – Viktor Király (40 points)
Morning Light – Marge (36 points)
Hogy segíthetnék? – Leslie Szabó (35 points)

Egy percig sztár – Oláh Ibolya
Retikül – Group’n’Swing
Csak a zene – Depresszió
