As the Eurovision week kicks off, the air is electrified with excitement, anticipation, and the diverse cultures uniting under one roof is proving, once again, to unite us all in music. We found ourselves privileged to sit down today with none other than Sarah Bonnici, representing Malta in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.

A high energy performance that Sarah brings to the stage is something that she takes very much pride in – her techniques in preparing for it along her team includes vocal preparation, choreography, and a whole lot of love!

What was especially interesting to the fans was the famous flip Sarah does during her performance – at first, she was hesitant and anxious. She even got a headache after she did it for the first time! But then something clicked, realizing it was a moment for the performance and the audience, and everything else faded into the background.

Sarah also had nothing but amazing words for her colleagues from the national final, she speaks fondly of the support she received from everyone. It ties into her genuine excitement and love for the music, art, and being happy for getting the opportunity to represent her country.

She promises a vibrant and energetic performance – and from what we’ve seen during the rehearsals, this promise is kept!
