This morning, the German broadcaster ARD revealed the eight acts who are confirmed to compete in Das Deutsche Finale 2024 on February 16, and made their songs available to listen before the contest.
The eight confirmed artists and songs are:
- Galant – “Katze”
- Isaak – “Always On The Run”
- Leona – “Undream You”
- Bodine Monet – “Tears Like Rain”
- Max Mutzke – “Forever Strong”
- Marie Reim – “Naiv”
- NinetyNine – “Love On A Budget”
- Ryk – “Oh Boy”
Joining these eight participants will be one additional Wild Card act, chosen through a multi-episode preselection show called Ich will zum ESC. Out of 693 applications this year, 15 new artists have the chance to compete for the final spot in the national final, and their song will be written and produced during the program with help from mentors Conchita Wurst and Rea Garvey.
The wildcard winner and their national final entry will be determined in a live final on February 8. All episodes will stream online in the ARD Media Library.
