There is now less than a week until the final of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, soon we will know who will become the 21st winner of the competition and who will follow in the footsteps of Lissandro, who came victorious last year in Yerevan, Armenia, and all the prior winners.

Nice 2023 – Running Order

Yesterday finally saw the opening ceremony take place, where the participants from the 16 participating countries took to the red carpet and feel like the young stars they are, or in this year’s case, the heroes they are. During the ceremony, it was revealed and decided, that Spain would be opening the show, while Netherlands will close it. France as the host nation, was also decided to perform 12th in the running order, since being the host nation.

This still left out the remaining 13 countries, who instead would have the starting position decided by the producers, to fit the show best as possible, based on the 3 draws that took place during the ceremony as well.

After a few hours, the EBU could reveal that a running order had now been set, and it will go as follows:

  1. 🇪🇸 – Spain: Sandra Valero – “Loviu
  2. 🇲🇹 – Malta: Yulan – “Stronger

  14. 🇮🇹 – Italy: Melissa & Ranya – “Un Mondo Giusto

The show may first air on the 26th of November, but stay prepared, as the voting will open sooner than that. As we roll into the rehearsals, clips will be shared online by the EBU, who will open the online voting starting on Friday the 24th of November, at 20:00 CET (8 PM).

The online voting will last until the minute before the live show starts and will then re-open again for an approximate of 15 minutes, as soon as the last song has been performed. Everyone is eligible to vote, wherever they might be located.
