Today broadcaster Suspilne announced the longlist of ‘Vidbir 2024’ participants.
Among them are a few well known artists such as MELOVIN (representative of Ukraine in Eurovision 2018, participant of Vidbir 2017), Jerry Heil (participant of Vidbir 2020 and 2023, jury member of Junior Eurovision Vidbir 2023) in duo with Alyona Alyona (jury member of Junior Eurovision Vidbir 2023).

- Ziferblat.
The longlist was formed from almost 400 applications and now contains 20 names from which 10 finalists will be chosen. It will be announced no later than November 20th who will be chosen as finalists.
Dmytro Shnurov, music producer of ‘Vidbir 2024’ said that everyone who was selected into the longlist was diverse and distinctive.
Among the participants that would not be selected as finalists from the longlist, there would be an online voting where one more finalist is expected to be chosen.
The final of ‘Vidbir 2024’ will take place in February 2024 and the winner of this competition will become a representative of Ukraine in Eurovision 2024. Similarly to previous years, the winner will be chosen through televoting and jury voting. Jury members, in their turn, will be selected through online voting.
