CyBC has officially introduced Silia Kapsis as Cyprus’ representative for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö in May.

Silia, a talented singer with roots in both Cyprus and Greece, hails from Sydney, Australia. Her impressive journey in the entertainment world includes being the lead vocalist for the Australian Youth Performing Arts Company (AYPAC) and performing at various prestigious events worldwide.

Silia’s love for pop music led her to release her debut song, “Who Am I?,” in 2022, a composition she crafted when she was just 12 years old. Since then, she has continued to release more singles, with another one expected before 2024.

Beyond her music career, Silia has collaborated with renowned choreographers, joined the ImmaBeast Dance Company in Los Angeles, danced alongside Stephen tWitch Boss on The Jennifer Hudson Show, and even featured in a dance documentary produced by Taboo from the Black-Eyed Peas.

She’s also ventured into acting, taking on the lead role of Zoe in her debut short film, “Pearly Gates,” and participating in various television projects, including hosting duties on Nickelodeon’s Nick News.

With her extensive experience in the limelight, Silia is well-prepared to shine on the Eurovision stage. Stay tuned for more details about the song she’ll be performing.
