Junior Eurovision 2022

We are slowly approaching November and Junior Eurovision 2023 in Nice, France. To get ready, the Armenian broadcaster, AMPTV, released yesterday (the 4th of July) a statement announcing that they have started to search for a representative for the competition.

In their recent blog post, they guided possible representatives to fill out an application form to get a chance to join the competition. This means that children between the ages of 9 and 14 and in groups of up to 6 people can go to Armenia’s official junior Eurovision site to apply. The form includes sending two videos of the artist performing two cover songs live-on-tape. Going through the first round would see the performer(s) get invited to go in front of a jury for further auditioning. It is this jury, who will decide the appropriate representative for Armenia at JESC 2023.

Applications will be accepted from now until the 23rd of July.

Armenia will look to win the competition with two wins in their book and one as recently as 2021 with “Qami Qami” by Maléna.
