After much speculation, and confirmation from some ABBA members that they would not perform at Eurovision 2024, Bjorn Ulveaus has not ruled out a performance in Sweden.

In an interview on SVT’s morning show, Morgonstudion, Bjorn answered questions on whether ABBA would appear at Eurovision saying;

“It almost gets a little weird, doesn’t it? That it is exactly in Sweden, exactly this year. And it just happened so we don’t really know. There are many who think “what can you come up with for something fun?”

Continuing further to admit that he can only speak for himself and not the others in the band.

Many have reported that ABBA will not be at Eurovision 2024 though there may be hope now that they make an appearance.

2024 is obviously 40 years since ABBA won Eurovision in Brighton 1974. The anniversary would be a first performance together on stage in a while.

Sweden won Eurovision 2023 for the 6th time with Loreen’s song “Tattoo”. She became only the 2nd two-time champion, and the first female to do so.

Right now, many cities including Stockholm, Malmo and Gothenburg are vying for the chance to host Eurovision 2024. Though no official process has started.
