Kazakhstan’s entry for Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022 has been released. The song is titled “Jer-Ana” (Mother Earth) by David Charlin. It was co-composed by Khamit Shangaliyev, the same person behind Kazakhstan’s 2019 and 2020 entries.

Kazakhstan is yet again bringing another powerful ballad. The music video shows a story of evolution and it sends a message that humans should take care of the planet. It is expected that Kazakhstan will once again deliver a powerful performance on the Junior Eurovision Stage.

Kazakhstan debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest back in 2018 in Minsk, Belarus. They have a great run in the contest so far. They have maintained their top 10 streak after Alinur and Beknur finished in 8th place in last year’s contest in Paris, France with the song “ртегі әлемі” (Fairy World).

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022 is set to be the 20th edition of the contest that will be held at Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex at Yerevan, Armenia on December 11, 2022 after Malena won the 2021 contest in Paris, France last year with the song “Qami Qami.”
