Starting from 28th of October to 2nd of November on Ukraine’s Junior Eurovision website there is ongoing voting for the jury of the upcoming contest in Yerevan.
Suspilne Broadcaster has announced that this year, for the first time ever, everyone can vote for the members of the jury. The national jury will consist of 5 representatives: two children and three more adult representatives.
Everyone will be able to vote for the members from both age groups. This can be done by selecting ‘Voting for jury’ tab. The authorization is allowed from Facebook and Gmail. If the vote is not getting calculated, it is advised to try to vote from a different Internet browser.
Among the adult candidates for jury, we have quite a few known artists from ‘Vidbir’, Ukraine’s Eurovision selection. Among them are Barleben, the finalist from ‘Vidbir2022’, KHAYAT, the runner-up of ‘Vidbir2020’, MAMARIKA, semi finalist of ‘Vidbir2017’, Viktor Baida, singer from Our Atlantic band, finalist of ‘Vidbir2022’, Sofia Tarabarova, semi finalist of ‘Vidbir2016’, Sofia Rol, representative of Ukraine at Junior Eurovision2016, Tetyana Piskaryova, an expert from Eurovision 2011 selection and Maksym Nagornyak who is a juror of Ukraine’s music award Yuna and an author of the Ukraine’s first Youtube channel dedicated to Ukrainian music.
As for the children jury, there are overall 6 candidates. Among them are DJ Polinka, Sofia Artemenko and Diana Stasyuk, finalists of Ukraine’s Junior Eurovision 2022 selection, Anastasiya Doroshenko known as Nana Do, finalist of Junior’s selection from the previous year and also Anastasiya Petryuk and Daria Rebrova, both finalists for Ukraine’s Junior Eurovision 2021 and 2022 selections.
Results of the voting will determine who will be the jury for this year contest. Five candidates who will receive the most votes will be offered to sign agreements. It also worth mentioning that the names of jurors will be publicly announced after the contest is over which is in line with the rules of Junior Eurovision.
This year’s 20th Junior Eurovision song contest will take place in Yerevan, Ukraine will be represented by Zlata Dziunka.
