Tonight will not see as much hectic activity as the previous few weekends, but two more songs for Turin will be decided at opposite ends of the earth!

Here’s everything #YOU should know about the two finals and two semis in Eurovision world today…

AUSTRALIA – Australia Decides 2022 (10:30 CET)

Australia’s national selection returns for its third edition, with 11 acts taking part in the fight to represent the land down under at the Turin contest.

The eleven acts performing are;

  1. G-Nation – Bite Me
  2. Erica Padilla – To The Bottom
  3. Seann Miley Moore – My Body
  4. Charley – I Suck at Being Lonely
  5. Andrew Lambrou – Electrify
  6. Sheldon Riley – Not the Same
  7. Paulini – We Are One
  8. Jaguar Jonze – Little Fires
  9. Isaiah Firebrace & Evie Irie – When I’m With You
  10. Voyager – Dreamer
  11. Jude York – I Won’t Need to Dream

Included in the line-up are Jaguar Jonze, returning for a second performance in the competition, and 2017 representative Isaiah Firebrace in a duet with Evie Irie. A combination of jury voting and televoting will decide this year’s Australian representative. Montaigne (Australia 2020, 2021) and KEiiNO (Norway 2019) will also perform as interval acts in the show.

FINLAND – Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2022 (20:00 CET)

Finland’s Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu, now an established selection show in the country, was successful in producing the Nordic nation’s best result since their 2006 victory in Rotterdam, so hopes are high to continue the success in Turin. Seven acts will be hoping to earn the Finnish ticket to Italy, including one of Finland’s most famous rock exports.

The seven acts are;

  • Bess – Ram pam pam
  • Cyan Kicks – Hurricane
  • Isaac Sene – Kuuma jäbä
  • Olivera – Thank God I’m an Atheist
  • The Rasmus – Jezebel
  • Tommi Läntinen – Elämä kantaa mua
  • Younghearted – Sun numero

Finnish music royalty in both The Rasmus and Tommi Läntinen are joined by a number of Finland’s rising stars in a diverse and high-quality line-up. One song will be chosen to represent Finland in Turin, with a 75% split of televote and a 25% count of international juries choosing the entry.

ICELAND – Söngvakeppnin Semi-Final 1 (20:45 CET)

After a highly successful two tracks from the now internationally-known Daði Freyr and Gagnamagnið, Iceland look to their successor in Turin in the hopes of continuing a strong run of results in the contest.

The five acts in tonight’s semi-final hoping to make it through to the 12th March final are;

  • Amarosis – Don’t you know
  • Stefán Óli – Ljósið
  • Haffi Haff – Gía
  • Stefanía Svavarsdóttir – Hjartað mitt
  • Sigga, Beta & Elín – Með hækkandi sól

It is expected that the Icelandic televote will decide two of these songs to be performed in the final. The artists are able to change from Icelandic to English in the final should they so wish.

SWEDEN – Melodifestivalen Semi-Final 4 (20:00 CET)

Sweden’s Melodifestivalen plays all of its cards this weekend, with the final seven acts set to take to the stage. Notably, former Swedish representative Anna Bergendahl takes another shot at her second Melfest title, and Klara Hammarström will hope third time is the charm for her closing entry.

The seven acts in tonight’s show, hosted by Oscar Zia, are;

  1. Anna Bergendahl – Higher Power
  2. Lillasyster – Till Our Days Are Over
  3. Malin Christin – Synd om dig
  4. Tenori – La Stella
  5. Medina – In i dimman
  6. Angelino – The End
  7. Klara Hammarström – Run to the Hills

As in the previous semi-finals this year, one song will go direkt til finalen immediately, with the remaining six facing another public vote. The winner of this vote will join the finalist, with the 2nd and 3rd placed acts making it to next weekend’s second chance round.
