The Polish artist Gromee has been confirmed as the composer for the theme song of this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Gliwice, to be called “Share The Joy”.

In an announcement on Facebook, the DJ and producer stated, “For a few weeks, interesting things have been created in the studio.” The song will be performed at the upcoming contest on November 24th.

Born Andrzej Gromala in Kraków, Poland, Gromee represented his homeland in the 2018 contest in Lisbon with the song “Light Me Up”, featuring Lukas Meijer on vocals. The pair placed 14th in the Second Semi-Final with 81 points, failing to qualify for the Grand Final. The song peaked at #1 in Poland for four weeks, the longest chart reign of any Polish Eurovision entry. Gromee also holds the distinction of being the first DJ to perform on stage at Eurovision.
