It won’t quite be the marathon from last year, but Armenia’s national broadcaster ARMTV confirmed this weekend that Depi Evratesil will once again choose Armenia’s Eurovision entry in 2018. One major change for this year however is that the show will take on the more traditional national selection format, with original submissions from Armenian artists!

The broadcaster released their teaser for the competition on YouTube below (captioning in English available);

The submission period for entries from interested artists will finish on December 15th. Only artists from Armenia or those of Armenian descent worldwide are eligible to participate. Entrants are asked to submit a photo, an audio file of their entry and a video of their live vocal.

More details on entering Depi Evratesil 2018 can be found in English HERE.

Armenia have been quite successful in the competition, finishing 4th on two occasions. Artsvik, the inaugural winner of Depi Evratesil in December 2016, represented Armenia in Kyiv with “Fly With Me”, finishing 7th in the grand final.
