Israel has decided – it’s Imri Ziv to Kiev for the country!
Ziv had what it took to beat the Julieta, Diana Golbi and Beatbox Element to secure the Israeli ticket to Ukraine for the contest in May. It is currently unknown what song Imri Ziv will perform at Eurovision.
The singer marked the victory in the competition by performing Beyoncé’s “Halo” as the confetti fell on the HaKokhav HaBa stage. He is the third consecutive male winner of the competition and will be hoping to also be the third consecutive Israeli singer to reach the Eurovision final.
Imri Ziv will perform in the second semi-final on May 11th. The Israeli national broadcaster IBA will now decide on what song Imri will sing, with an announcement due within the coming weeks.
