Last year in Vienna Australia debuted at Eurovision Song Contest. It should have been a one off participation, but the EBU and SVT decided to call them back.
This morning (evening in Australia) Conchita had a concert in Sydney Opera House and there she had the pleasure to reveal the next Australian representative.
There she performed Waterloo on piano and you can just imagine the euphoria from the crowd.
Surprise, surprise it is non other, than Dami Im.
Dami is orginally from South Korea, but she and her family moved to country down under when she was nine.
She shot her glory by winning the fifthe season of X Factor and her winning single Alive was toping the charts.
Her Eurovision entry will be revealed next Friday.
