A few weeks ago, RTE, the Irish national broadcaster revealed that they will be represented by former Westlife singer, Nicky Bryne. This weekend the song was performed live on TV for the first time!
After a run of bad luck in Eurovision, Ireland have opted for an internal selection in hope of turning around that luck and hoping that a big name will see them to their 8th Eurovision victory. Their fate is in the hands of Nicky Byrne, Wayne Hector, Ronan Hardiman who wrote “Sunlight” which will be performed in the first half of the second semi-final in Stockholm in May.
