It is thursday and it is february – which means it is time for the Melodifestivalen snippets release.
Two days left until the second Live Show at the 56th edition of Melodifestivalen – Swedish favourite show, also Swedish National selection for Eurovision. At the Saturday’s night we will be hosted by Gina Dirawi direct from Malmö Arena! Show starts at 20:00 CET
The first one on stage was David Lindgren with song ‘We are your tomorrow’. This song is mixture of Måns Zelmerlöw and Eric Saade, but they are well-known performers and this is compliment. This guys knows the stage and he owns it! Staging looks amazing and it elevates this song. This could easly make through the final.
After David, Victor och Natten performed ‘100 %’. Such a lovely song! A sole male artist on stage surrounded with 5 female dancers give this song a lovely taste. At the end, is it going to be enough to buy the ‘Golden Ticket’ and go direkt till final? We must wait until the live show at the Saturday night.
Next up was a girl – Molly Pettersson Hammar with song ‘Hunger’. They choose a red lighting effects for this charming girl. She has such an amazing voice and with song composed by Joy Deb, Linnea Deb, Lisa Desmond and Anton Hård af Segerstad (Composers of ‘Heroes’) what more could we say if it isn’t – STUNNING. Can’t wait to see her full performance.
Isa is young Swedish artist (She was born in 1998) but for her age she is very confident. We may expected a ‘bring a show in the house’ like last year song ‘Don’t Worry’ but she choose to present us her emotions with ‘Modern Ballad’ and song ‘I will Wait’. This is simple of powerful and soaring Isa.
Malmö Arena is made for this girl. She represented her native country – Finland – at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in this Arena. She will perform as the 5th artist at the Saturday, also in this Arena. Do you know what is her name? It is Krista Siegfrids with song ‘Faller’. ‘Great show’ is what this girl will show us. Her performance characterize a ‘Formula 1’ flags with 2 male and 2 female dancers. They wear a red suits. Is this going to buy her a ticket for andra chansen or maybe direkt till final? What do you think? Tell us!
Next up on the stage were Patrik Isaksson, Tommy Isaksson, Tommy Nilsson and Uno Svenningsson with song ‘Håll mitt hjärta hårt’. Pure beauty of the language is shown in this song, but will Sweden be hard-of-hearing such as they were when Pernilla Andersson performed ‘Mitt Guld’ we will see.
The last to perforform on stage was Wiktoria with song ‘Save Me’. Her smooth voice makes this song magical. Stage effects are on the right place. Can’t wait to see full performance.
