The French broadcaster have received a number of songs all hoping to represent France in Stockholm, they will reveal their final decision on the 12th of March!
The decision has not yet been made, although they are whittling the songs down and we will have the French song on the 12th of March. With a new Head of Delegation (HoD), Edoardo Grassi, will France embark on a new era of Eurovision? Will they once again become a contender in the contest?
Grassi hopes to bring victory back to France for the first time since 1977 and is very happy with the quality of acts who are wishing to undertake the role in 2016. He stated “EWe had several songs coming from independent artists this year. It was a good surprise for the entire delegation. There were also numerous artists who where signed in a major company already”.
France selected Lisa Angell to represent them in 2015, although “N’oubliez Pas’ seemed to get forgotten by the voters and only ended 25th with 4 points
