Poli represented Bulgaria in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest, now she has been announced as the host of Junior Eurovision 2015

Today, it has been announced by BNT the national broadcaster of Bulgaria that the host of the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be Poli Genova.

Poli is no stranger to Eurovision, she represented her nation in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest with her song “Na inat” where she failed to make the grand final, missing out by 6 points. She also participated in the Bulgarian national finals in 2005 and 2006. Poli has also been a judge on Bulgarian X-Factor. Poli stated: “I am really happy that Bulgaria is hosting the most prestigious song contest for young artists in Europe and that BNT decided that I am the right person to host it”.

There will be 17 countries participating in this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest which will be held on the 21st of November in Sofia, Bulgaria.
