Today (28th of September) the German speaking broadcaster SRF, will begin accepting songs as part of their online selection process. Any singers / Songwriters are eligible to send in songs to be judged by the public (Eurovision fans are asked to vote for their favourites online) and a panel of judges. There are no rules as to who can enter the contest, but, the songs themselves must be between 2m50s and 3minutes, and the songs must not have been released before 01/09/2015.
Last year the three songs selected to represent SRF in Die Entscheidungsshow, the show that consists of the ‘best’ songs from each broadcaster, were “Only Human” by Tiziana, “Hey Now” by Andy McSean and “Singing About Love” by Timebell.
The online submissions will begin today and will run until 8:00 CET on the 26th of October.
