Next up on our dream team is a country who thankfully saw a reversal of recent fortune in 2015 – Vienna would not have been the same without the parties and celebrations sparked by Nadav Guedj’s “Golden Boy”! In fact, it’s another woman in this year’s female-dominated dream team, as Marina Maximilian Blumin is our readers’ favourite act from Israel. The Ukraine-born singer was top pick for the Israeli radio station initially responsible for picking the country’s 2015 performer, but she turned down the offer. Perhaps after a successful year for the Middle Eastern nation, she may be tempted to take up the offer this time?
